ISLAMABAD: A fabulous ceremony to mark Pakistan Day was held at the President House, ARY News reported Sunday.
The ceremony was held virtually after eight years at the President House.
President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif came in a bogie to attend the ceremony. Chairman Joint Chief of Staff and all top representatives of the armed forces among key politicians attended the event. President and the prime minister hoisted the national flag at the ceremony.
Parade and march-past was also held to pay respect to the soldiers of Pakistan, who rendered sacrifices in the line of duty.
A pair of JF-17 Thunder aircraft performed fly-past during Pakistan National Day Parade.
