Pakistan ready to respond to any Indian misadventure: PM Khan

THARPARKAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that Pakistan’s armed forces and the nation are ready to respond to any Indian misadventure if the neighbouring country opts for aggression, ARY News reported.

Addressing a rally in Chachro taluka of Sindh’s Tharparkar district, the PM said that if Indian rulers think that they can enslave the Pakistani nation, they are terribly wrong, as the country’s army is ready to respond to any misadventure.

“Beware, we are ready, this nation and its army is ready, if you opt for aggression, we will respond aggressively,” said the PM while warning Indian PM Modi.

He maintained that Pakistan returned the Indian Air Force pilot as a peace gesture as it is a responsible and peace-loving state.

Health Card and RO plant Announcement

The premier told the people of the poverty-stricken area that the federal government will provide health inusrance cards to 1.2million people from Tharparkar. He added that a long-term plan aimed at establishing mobile hospitals and provision of ambulances is already in the pipeline.

The PM also announced establishing of 100 RO plants in the district, adding that more plants will be established in the future if the need arise.

“These (RO) plants will run on solar energy and we also have a plan to provide solar panels to the general public,” said the premier.

The PM maintained that developing the neglected and underdeveloped areas of the country remains his government’s top priority.

‘Govt stands with Pakistan’s Hindu community’

Assuring the district’s Hindu community of support, the PM said that Pakistan, unlike India, takes due care of all its minorities.

“Our government stands with the Hindu community and the country’s other minorities and will not tolerate mistreatment or persecution of any minority community,” said the PM.

Imran Khan was of the view that Pakistan’s founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah created Pakistan for the Muslims of the subcontinent for he feared Muslims will not get their due rights in the united India.

“The current Indian government has proved him right as today, not only Muslims but Sikhs and Christians are being mistreated in India,” said Imran Khan.

He concluded his speech by saying that his government will build Pakistan according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam who assured minorities of equal treatment and respect.
