Pakistan introduces visa-on-arrival facility for Saudi citizens

RIYADH: Pakistan has withdrawn the condition of acquiring visa for Saudi citizens visiting the country, announced federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Friday.

Talking to media in Riyadh, the minister told that Pakistan has introduced visa-on-arrival facility for all visiting Saudis.

After this facility, Chaudhry said “we hope that a large number of Saudis will now come to visit Pakistan,” as it will help boost tourism industry of the country.

The minister also highlighted that the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Kingdom to Saudi Arabia reinvigorated bilateral ties.

Moreover, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have decided to constitute a working group for coordination in film and drama production during talks between Fawad Chaudhry and Saudi Arabian Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah on Thursday.

Both the dignitaries decided for cooperation in performing art, fashion designing and training of artists.

A memorandum of understanding was also finalised on cultural cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on this occasion.
