PM reposed confidence in performance of Asad Umar: Naeemul Haque
ISLAMABAD: Reposing confidence in the performance Finance Minister Asad Umar and his economic team, the Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided not to change a single member of the team, said Special Assistant to PM on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque.
In an exclusive interview with ARY News on Thursday, Naeemul Haque dismissed the reports about the removal of finance minister and termed it a conspiracy against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
He said that Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increasing and economy has now entered the phase of an emerging economy due to the positive polices of the incumbent government and its economic team.
He said that the prime minister will review the performance of every federal minister and will take decision on purely merit.
Earlier in the day, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed had said that conspiracies are being hatched against the PTI government and its Finance Minister Asad Umar. He dismissed the reports pertaining to the removal of Asad Umar and called it fabricated and baseless,
