Holding a joint presser in Islamabad today, PML-N lawmakers Anushey Rehman, Maryam Aurangzeb and Maiza Hameed slammed Tehreek-i-Insaf and its leadership for the mistreatment of women at party rallies, raising questions on the silence of PTI leaders in its wake.

Condemning the harassment of women, they blasted the PTI leadership saying if the women participants cannot be protected, then why are they urged to join rallies.

State Minister for Information Technology (IT), Anushey Rehman said that man who can’t handle his party, how can he be expected to run the country. She contended that the people of Lahore have rejected Imran Khan and this is why PTI could manage to gather only a few thousands at its Lahore rally, despite the ‘musical concert’.

MNA Maryam Aurangzeb said Khan is ‘politically dead’ now and so is he looking for narrow streets and roundabouts for holding rallies.

The PML-N lawmakers urged the PTI chairman to review his politics and train workers, lest the doors for politics on women are closed on him.
