Police arrest MQM-London group shooter ‘chota don’ in Karachi

KARACHI: Ibrahim Hyderi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a target killer associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) group in Karachi, ARY News reported.

The shooter, identified as Yaseen alias ‘Chota Don’ is wanted in several heinous crimes including murders and extortion cases to the police.

According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir, Yaseen was companion of Azam Bengali.

“Search was underway for the arrest of Yaseen’s three companions, who fled during the action”, the SSP maintained.

The police has also confiscated two pistols and snatched motorcycle from the custody of arrest shooter of MQM-L group.

Earlier on March 8, police arrested a suspected target killer affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London) and his accomplice in Karachi.

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Malir said that a police party, on a tip off, had conducted raid at a house in Mubaina Town and apprehended a suspected MQM-London target killer and his accomplice.

The police officer had said that the suspects were identified as Abbas alias Chadda and Masood alias Bablo. He said that Abbas alias Chadda was the target killer of Unit-99 Malir Sector and had confessed many murders during the interrogation.
