The police said four arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Ghazali, Abu Bakar and Abdul Haseeb. The investigators said arrest of Muhummad Farooq led to arrest of other suspects.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police on March 5 claimed to have arrested four suspects in Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader and ex-MNA Syed Ali Raza Abidi’s murder case.
