Police foil woman’s abduction in KKF ambulance, four arrested

KARACHI: Police on Saturday foiled the abduction of a woman in the ambulance of a charitable organisation, and arrested four suspects, ARY News reported. 

The woman was being kidnapped near Pakistan Bazaar in Orangi Town in an ambulance of the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF).

However, police acted swiftly and foiled the bid and arrested four suspects. A case was filed by the woman’s brother-in-law against the four arrested suspects and their accomplice.

SSP East said that suspects attempted to kidnap the woman, a resident of Jauharabad, in an ambulance of the KKF which has now being seized by them.

Police said that suspect Sunny use to threaten the woman on her mobile phone, while a KKF driver along with three other accomplices kidnapped the woman near her home.

However, police acted swiftly and took all four suspects into custody. There were identified as Zameer, Faraz, Muhammad Ibrahim and Mahmood Alam. Suspect Sunny is still at large and efforts are being made to arrest him.
