ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday said politicians across the spectrum were united on the objective of developing Gwadar for progress of the country.
“All four provinces are cooperating on the successful conduct of Gawadar exhibition in the port city later this month,” he said this while talking to media in Islamabad.
Leader of the House in the Senate Shibli Faraz said Gwadar port would play an important role in trade and business activities across the region.
He said the successful conduct of this event will bring a good name to the country and enhance its image in the comity of nations.
Senator Ghafoor Haideri said Gwadar and the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were important projects for growth and development of Pakistan. He said the credit of holding the exhibition in Gwadar went to the chairman Senate that he took personal interest to hold this conference.

Senator Javed Abbasi said the holding of this mega event in Balochistan would send a positive message to the world that the province was safe, secure and suitable for business and investment.
Earlier on Thursday, Sanjrani said a ferry service between Gwadar and Muscat would help exploit the dividends of the economic activity getting momentum in the port city of Gwadar in the wake of the CPEC project.
“Ferry service between Gwadar and Muscat would not only enhance the trade volume but also facilitate tourists visiting different countries in the region,” he said.
