PM Abbasi arrives in Quetta to review security situation
QUETTA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has arrived in the provincial capital of Balochistan to review security situation in the province.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will meet Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri and Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzi, reported Radio Pakistan.
He will also chair meetings on law and order situation and development projects in the province besides holding meeting with the PML-N parliamentarians of Balochistan.
At least 15 people including the personnel of the Pakistan Army were killed and over 40 others wounded when a powerful blast hit an on-duty army truck at Pishin bus stop in Quetta last Saturday.
Following the attack, Chief of Army Chief (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa had arrived in Quetta to attend the funeral prayers of the martyred personnel in the terror attack, and inquired about the health of the victims of the blast.
He was also briefed at the Southern Command Headquarters about the latest incident and overall security of the province.
