PTI govt’s work will speak for itself in Punjab, says Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s work will now speak for itself in the province.

Speaking to a delegation of lawmakers from DG Khan, the chief minister said the culture of talk less and work more has been brought to ‘Naya Pakistan.’

He said they will now prove their performance by practical steps. Action would be taken against those officials who will not implement the PTI government’s policy, he warned.

Mr Buzdar said the CM House’s doors will remain open to all members of the Punjab Assembly. The clean Pakistan drive is being launched across Punjab, he announced.

He said no one will be allowed to create hindrances to the government’s efforts to resolve the issues facing the public.

Yesterday, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore.

They discussed political situation and administrative matters.

The governor said that improvement in law and order situation in the province is top priority of the government. He said that the transfer of power at grass-root level will bring positive results.

The chief minister said that merit will be ensured at all levels.
