ISLAMABAD: Labeling Nawaz Sharif’s homegoing rally via GT Road as ‘Corruption Bachao [saving] rally’, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday advised the ex-PM that he should concede his defeat rather than avoiding the sinking feeling.

Taking to Twitter on second day of Sharif’s rally, the PTI chief said: My advice to NS [Nawaz Sharif] on his Corruption Bachao [saving] rally: You can blame the umpires, the pitch, the weather, [and] some of your players but in the end you can’t avoid the sinking feeling that the game is over and you have lost.”
But in the end you can’t avoid the sinking feeling that the game is over & you have lost. https://t.co/bzbmZbTy4o

In the subsequent tweet, Imran said that Sharif is to realize people getting discontented after repeatedly hearing ‘poor umpiring’ excuses.
As he said: “And you will also realise there is a downward trend in the no [number] of people listening to your excuses of poor umpiring.”

It merits to mention here that deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is heading home to Lahore in a cavalcade, dubbed as homegoing rally, after his ouster in the Panama Papers case by Supreme Court of Pakistan on July 28.
