PTI announces schedule of Imran Khan’s election campaign

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday announced the complete schedule of chairman Imran Khan’s whirlwind election campaign tours across the country.

Imran Khan started the campaign in Mianwali last week, and addressed the general worker’s convention in Islamabad on Saturday. After the election campaign in Bannu on Sunday, the PTI chairman will address a political gathering on Monday July 2 in Sargodha.

Imran will visit Karachi from July 3-4 where he is also contesting election from NA-243 constituency.

On July 5, Imran will address in Swabi and Charsadda, and the next day he will address a political rally in Swat. This will be followed by election campaigning and rallies in Jhelum and Gujrat on July 7, and Abbottabad and Haripur on June 8.

Imran will visit Sindh from July 9-10, followed by Rahim Yar Khan on July 11. Political rallies will be held in Gujranwala and Kasur on July 12. Election campaigning in Rawalpindi will be held on July 13. Political gatherings have been organised in Peshawar and Mardan on July 14.

Imran returns back to Punjab with rallies planned in Sialkot and Faisalabad on July 15, but returns back to Mianwali and Bannu on July 16 to continue the election campaign.

On July 18-19, Imran Khan will be in Lahore, followed by further election campaigning in Bahawalpur and Multan on July 20. Imran returns to Lahore on July 21 and address at various areas across the city.

Imran will continue campaigning in Karachi on July 22 and spend the day with residents of the city. The election campaign will wind off with a massive political gathering in Islamabad on July 23.

The general elections will be held on July 25.
