LAHORE: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Tuesday said Punjab would have uniform syllabus by March 2020.
In a tweet, he said the federal government was working on uniform syllabus, technical skills, and improvement of education standard and bringing children to school.
Usman Dar said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was also working for the implementation of uniform syllabus in the province.
“In sha Allah! All the youth will move forward unitedly,” he said.
Last month in a statement, Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated his resolve to implement a new uniform and quality education system across the country.
PM Imran said that three different educational systems for different social classes created problems in the country.
He said that there was no room for separate educational systems for different social classes in the world. The prime minister said that the government would provide scholarships and more educational opportunities to the students of Balochistan so as to address the grievances of the local people.
Imran Khan said that the government will introduce new system for sport and will provide opportunities to the youth to prove their skills. He urged the students to follow the golden principles of Islam and asked them to learn from the life of our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
