MULTAN: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday said that Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad will take on all miscreants and play a part in bringing back normalcy in the country.
Gen. Bajwa visited the Multan Garrison where he was given detailed briefing on operational preparedness of the Corps. He was received by Commander Multan Corps Lt. General Sarfraz Sattar. Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lt. General Hidayat-ur-Rehman was also present.
COAS also witnessed training for troops to execute population census support plan. He appreciated the preparations and said that census is an important national activity and the army shall extend full support for its smooth conduct.
Later, he also witnessed combat training exercise of troops at Muzaffargarh field firing ranges. He complimented troops for displaying excellent training standards for conduct of both conventional and sub conventional operations.
He said that Pakistan Army is second to none by virtue of its combat experience over the years. He acknowledged the contributions of officers and troops towards internal security.
