Rangers announce Rs2.5mn for information on Owais Shah’s abductors

A spokesman for Rangers stated that anyone who provides information on the kidnappers of Shah will be given Rs2.5 million. The details of the informant will be kept secret, assured the paramilitary force in a statement issued Tuesday.

The citizens can provide information of abductors on Rangers helpline 1101 and Whatsapp 0316-2369996.

A police team headed by DIG Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Sultan Khawaja is also busy tracing the kidnappers’ footsteps. The committee includes several high-ranking officials.

Law enforcers have been conducting raids across the megapolis since yesterday’s kidnapping outside a supermarket in Clifton, where Owais Shah had gone after the Iftar.

Scores of suspects have been rounded up in this regard, who are being interrogated.
