Rangers collar five suspects in Karachi
KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Saturday apprehended five suspects during raids in different areas of Karachi, ARY News reported.
Those arrested include robbers and street criminals, said spokesperson of the paramilitary force.
The Rangers spokesman said weapons and looted valuable items were recovered from their possession.
He said raids were carried out in Chakiwara, Baldia Town, Model Colony and Mubeena Town.
On May 1, Sindh Rangers had arrested eight suspects involved in different crimes from different areas of Karachi.
The spokesperson of paramilitary force had said a suspect involved in target killing and extortion was arrested from Nabi Bukhsh area.
While, seven street criminals were arrested from Madina Colony, Darakhshan and Sohrab Goth, he had said.
The Rangers spokesman had said illegal weapons, ammunition and looted valuable items were recovered from the suspects.
On April 22, Sindh Rangers had rounded up two outlaws in various raids in Karachi.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the raids were conducted in areas of New Karachi and Gulistan-e-Jauhar on a tip-off and two suspects involved in dacoities and street crimes were apprehended.
The arrested suspects were identified as Farhan Hussain alias ‘Kala’ and Muhammad Furqan alias ‘Dabay’.
