Rasheed asks PTI to ‘gear up’ to run next govt

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed, while addressing a rally here, said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) should be mentally prepared to run the [next] government.

Rasheed made these remarks while visiting Dhoke Kala Khan, Rawalpindi as part of his election campaign.

“If Imran doesn’t get the reins of the next government, then it will be great injustice to the people of Pakistan,” claimed the AML chief.

He said that if any member of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) wishes to join us we will welcome them with open arms and respect.

He also questioned PML-N’s desicion of giving four tickets to the members of the same family of Chaudhary Tanveer.

Rasheed said that the upcoming elections will be tough and PTI should be mentally prepared to face challenges that may come in the way. “We will form government mainly to serve people, and once elected we will work on providing jobs to the youth.”
