In a statement, Mr. Musharraf it felt very painful to see loss of precious lives in terrorism incidents across Pakistan.

He called upon the government to cut off ties with Modi in better national interest.

The ex-president was of the view that India didn’t respect Pakistan as its neighbor and always conspire sabotage law and order here.

At least 53 people were killed Monday when a powerful explosion ripped through a hospital in Quetta as witnesses described tearful staff rushing towards the smoking blast site to help dozens of wounded.

The explosion in Quetta came as up to 200 people gathered at the Civil Hospital after the fatal shooting of a senior local lawyer.

Video footage showed bodies strewn on the ground, some still smoking, among pools of blood and shattered glass as shocked survivors cried and comforted one another.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for either the blast or the shooting of the lawyer.

Home Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti had also cautioned four days ago in a press conference that Indian intelligence agency, RAW, and Afghanistan intelligence agency, NDS, were involved in suspicious activities to destabilise Pakistan.

“All the terrorist activities in Balochistan have been witnessed having links with RAW or NDS. It is an open secret that training camps of Ferraris are present in Afghanistan while RAW agent Khubhushen Yadav was arrested from Balochistan,” he said.
