Fawad credits PM Imran for Pakistan’s respect in the Muslim world
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said Tuesday that the respect being given to Prime Minister Imran Khan in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showed what status Pakistan enjoyed in the Muslim Ummah.
In a tweet, the minister said that a few hours have passed since landing in Riyadh, and a hectic day was awaiting the prime minister.
In another tweet, he said that today the PM was scheduled to have question-answer session in the Saudi Investment Conference, meet Kadim Al Harmain Al Sharifain King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi ministers.

Prime Minister Imran on Monday arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in ‘Future Investment Initiative’ conference beginning in Riyadh today.
He is paying the visit on special invitation of King Salman Bin Abdel Aziz.
The prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, and Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Abdul Razzak Dawood.
The conference called ‘Davos in the Desert’, will bring leading businessmen, investors, corporate giants, representatives of hi-tech industry and major media outlets at one platform.
The PM’s participation in first day of the conference was aimed at projecting Pakistan’s economic and investment potential as well as its vision for the next five years.
The conference will provide an opportunity to him to interact with important business leaders who are interested in investing in Pakistan.
