Sammy eats biryani, thanks Karachi ahead of PSL final

“Karachi ki biryani khaee, Buhat Mazaa aya,” said Peshawar Zalmi captain Daren Sammy in a video posted on his Twitter profile.

The West Indian who is in Karachi to play Sunday’s final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) against Islamabad United also thanked people of Karachi for their support.

Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will play the final in Karachi’s National Stadium on Sunday, March 25.

Sammy and his team arrived in the city on March 22 after beating Karachi Kings a day before in Lahore in the second PSL eliminator.

It is pertinent to note here that the two time T20 World Cup winner was one of the few players who opted to travel to Pakistan for last year’s PSL final in Lahore, making him one of the most loved foreign players in the country.

Sammy won the PSL 2 trophy for his team Peshawar Zalmi.

#ForTheCulture #MoreThanJustAGame #Lahore thanks for the love shown today..
