School teacher accuses former MNA, accomplices of gang rape
KHUSHAB: A woman has approached Khushab police accusing former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of National Assembly Shakir Bashir Awan of raping her with five of his accomplices, ARY News reported on Thursday.
According to ARY News correspondent, a school teacher registered a case against Shakir Awan in which she accused the former PML-N MNA of raping her along with five of his accomplices.
The woman claimed that Awan invited her to his house on the pretext of helping her find a good job but when she reached his residence, Awan and five of his accomplices raped her one by one.
She maintained that she was also threatened with dire consequences for pursuing the case.
The politician and former MNA, however, claims that this case has been registered on the behest of his political opponents.
