Session to review business facilities to be held monthly, PM decides

ISLAMABAD: Taking another important step to promote business environment in the country, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to call a session on monthly basis to review the trade facilities across Pakistan.

As per details, the decision was taken at a meeting with the prime minister in chair.

The session discussed the matters related to creating a favorable atmosphere for the investors while the premier was briefed on the recent initiatives taken in this regard. The tax and policy issues faced by the business community were also a part of the discussion.

Directing to immediately resolve the woes of investors, PM Khan sought a comprehensive plan on the topic from the economic team.

Prime Minister Khan was also told that the hurdles on provincial level for the establishment of economic zones are being effectively addressed by the concerned authorities. Further, the efforts are underway to restore the trust of the private sector over government policies, the premier was informed.

The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Asad Umar, Law Minister Farogh Naseem, Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Chairman Investment Board Haroon Sharif and other economy experts.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had reiterated on multiple occasions that his government was committed to promote and protect trade activities by providing maximum facilities to enable business-friendly environment for the investors in the country.
