The police high-ups received information about the sex racket from a city-based NGO. It was run from the production house located on Versova. The squad posed as fake customers, and then raided the flat and rescued two models, reported the Mid-Day.

In a sting operation of sorts, police sent two of their cops posing as customers to the flat. After being alerted by the cops, the police squad raided the flat and arrested the lady pimp. The accused model would force victims to participate in nude photo-shoot and sent their picture to customers through WhatsApp.
“The arrested model has acted in few low budget movies as well, and she lured struggling models to her office by offering them roles in low budget movies, and after taking them into confidence, she trapped them in the prostitution racket,” DS Patil, police inspector from Versova police station told Midday.
Police say the names of several high profile customers were found in documents removed from the VR Entertainment office.

“The arrested model has acted in few low budget movies as well, and she lured struggling models to her office by offering them roles in low budget movies, and after taking them into confidence, she trapped them in the prostitution racket,” said DS Patil, police inspector from Versova police station the mid-day.
“We have recovered more than 100 photos of different models, and most of them are from outside Mumbai. The arrested model was earning good money from them. Most businessmen and known faces from Bollywood were in touch with her, it has been found in the investigation,” Patil added.
