Shahid Afridi to represent Pak XI in goodwill match in Miranshah

A star-studded Pakistan XI will take on UK Media XI in a goodwill match in Miranshah at Younis Khan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa has issued special instructions for this goodwill match between the two sides.

The purpose of hosting this cricket match is to send a positive message across the world about the security situation in Pakistan. The game will be telecasted live on PTV Sports.

Players including Shahid Afridi, Inzamam Ul Haq, Mushtaq Ahmed, Junaid Khan and other big names of Pakistan cricket will play the match.

Recently, some of the world’s most prominent players toured Pakistan with World XI to play a three-match T20 series against the hosts.
