KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) was informed on Monday that notorious target killer, Kamran Madhuri, was involved in seven different cases including murder of policemen, ARY News reported.

The court was hearing a bail application filed by the suspect and four others involved in several crimes.

The prosecution lawyer informed the court that Kamran Madhuri had been acquitted in three cases, while he is still facing charges in seven different cases.

He said the suspect had attacked a police van in Chakra Goth on August 19, 2011, in which six cops had lost their lives while several others were injured.

The lawyer further said the eye-witnesses had also identified the target killers before magistrate. The court adjourned the hearing till December 13.

The SHC in July this year had ordered investigators to submit copies of the police file and related evidence against high profile target killer Kamran Madhuri and four others.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has already rejected a bail application filed on behalf of the suspects. The court ordered the prosecution to present records of the identity parade, police file and other evidence by July 10.
