Star-studded premiere of Ho Mann Jahaan in Karachi

It was a star-studded event and attended by many celebrities and even by former president and army chief General Pervez Musharraf, who attended the show along with his wife, daughter and her two children. The general’s son-in-law Asim Raza is the film’s director and could also be spotted on the red carpet.

Those who saw the movie gave it rave reviews and said that it was cinema at its finest and was a sign that Pakistan’s indigenous film industry was doing well and had a good future. Prior to this, director Asim Raza has made critically and commercially acclaimed music videos for various well known musicians and bands. This movie marks his first foray into film-making.

#HoMannJahaan is set to release nationwide tomorrow and stars Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar, Adeel Husain and Sonya Jehan along with many other cameos. It has been produced by ARY Films and The Vision Factory Films.

It’s soundtrack of Ho Mann Jahaan features the likes of Tina Sani, Atif Aslam, Asrar Shah, Zoheb Hassan, Zebunnisa Bangash, Mai Dhai, Farid Ayaz and others.
