They contacted the head of the Emergency Ward at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Dr Seemin Jamali who told them that water bottles and blankets were needed to cope with the large number of patients seeking treatment for suffering a heatstroke.

They launched a campaign on social media and within a few hours had managed to deliver several hundred water bottles to the hospital, an example of what private and individual initiative can do.
