An application was filed in the City Police station by the Pakistan Workers Party (PWP) Chairman Khudai-e-Dost Kakar who said that Bugti should be tried under Article 6 of the Constitution of Pakistan. He said that Bugti was also responsible for facilitating terrorism and anti-state activities in the province.

Bugti,  who is the grandson of influential Baloch warlord Nawab Akbar Bugti and is currently in exile in Switzerland, had welcomed Modi’s comments over intervention in Balochistan and thanked him for his support. Bugti  urged the international community to play a role just like Libya and Syria.

These has raised huge protests across Balochistan where the effigies of Bugti and Modi were burned and slogans were raised in favour of the military and government of Pakistan.
