ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda on Tuesday said at personal level they would try to compensate the pain and damage inflicted on the family in Azam Swati case.

“There is no margin for discussion on plight of the affected family as a result of the fight. However, without giving justification whether Swati is right or wrong, the issue of the IG Islamabad’s not taking the call for 22 hours is being debated in specific circle of the bureaucracy,” he said while talking during ARY News programme ‘PowerPlay’.

The affected family has blamed that Federal Minister for Science and Technology Azam Khan Swati tried to confiscate their home land and had forcibly taken a cow from their possession. The family said Swati’s men had also beaten owner of the house.

On the flip side, Swati maintained that there was a scuffle between the people encroaching a land and his watchman and following that the land encroachers threatened that they would bomb Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said three of his servants had got injured as a result of this fight.

Host Arshad Sharif said a compromise has been reached now between both the parties.
