Wasim Akram says PCB’s domestic affairs committee head ruining cricket

Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram on Friday said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) domestic affairs committee head is ruining the game, ARY News reported.



“A journalist–not Najam Sethi–is head of PCB’s domestic cricket affairs committee & he is ruining it!” Wasim Akram said in a tweet late night on Saturday clarifying that the journalist in question is not Najam Sethi.

PCB’s domestic affairs committee is headed by Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh, a journalist who worked for an English daily in the past.

According to PCB website, the domestic affairs committee is headed by Mr. Shakil Ahmed Shaikh and comprises of Mr. Amjad Latif. Mr. Gul Zada, Mr. Ali Zia and Mr. Saqib Irfan.

Wasim Akram, who also coaches PSL franchise Islamabad United, did not clarify as to why he thinks Mr Shakil Shaikh is ruining the game through his position.
