Co-founder of Whatsapp Brian Acton also confirmed about this new feature.

The new service will be available for all android users. The update requires users to change the language settings of their messenger to Urdu to effect new setting.

Ahsan Saeed, the person who developed the Whatsapp in Urdu, also announced the development on his Twitter account.

Urdu will be the 18th language which shall be officially translated for a Whatsapp version.
