Although no restrictions have so far been imposed on Valentine’s Day activities in Lahore, but the women did come out in protest against it.
Holding a rally at Lalak Jan Road, the protesting women said there is no religious basis to celebrate Valentine’s Day and called upon the government to impose a ban on such celebrations.
They also handed pamphlets to passers-by urging not to celebrate the day.
