‘Both you and me should respect law’: Hamza Shehbaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz on Saturday claimed that he had court orders and said that the government could not arrest him.

Talking about National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) raid at his house, Hamza Shehbaz said, ” Both me and you should respect law.” He said that he had been appearing before the NAB, hence what made them to jump over the wall to enter his house.

Addressing PML-N activists, the PML-N leader that he was not escaping from cases and added that he returned homeland one day earlier than the time given by the court. The Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly said that his father, Shehbaz Sharif and uncle Nawaz Sharif also complied with the law and the constitution.

He said that the government could not prove even a single penny of corruption against Shehbaz Sharif and added that he was summoned in ‘Saaf Pani’ case but arrested in ‘Ashiana’ case.

Talking about the Lahore High Court orders about barring NAB from his detention, Hamza Shehbaz said that it was not victory or defeat of anyone. He termed it victory of rule of law in the country.

Hamza Shehbaz thanked the workers of PML-N for standing outside his house and declared them his family.
