ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari was acquitted in Polo Ground Reference on Wednesday, ARY News reported.

Accountability court Islamabad announced its verdict today.

The hearing of remaining four references against Asif Ali Zardari, filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was adjourned till June 04.

The court had reserved its verdict on acquittal plea of Asif Ali Zardari on May 20.

The former president facing five references filed 17 years ago by NAB, including the polo ground case, the Cotecna and SGS cases and other references.
