Erling Haaland surprises fans with new buzzcut

Fans were taken aback when Erling Haaland drastically altered his trademark hairdo.

Just hours before his team’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday morning, August 23, the Manchester City striker flaunted a new buzzcut.

He promoted the most recent episode of his YouTube channel, which has over four million subscribers, by posting multiple images of his new appearance on Instagram.

Fans were immediately drawn to the radical haircut, and social media users expressed their opinions about Erling Haaland’s significantly shorter hairstyle.

Expressing shock, a fan commented, “Noooo… that beautiful hair.” Another said, “Oh, actually it turned out pretty good.” A third user commented, “Nice, but why?”

Later in the episode, the football player called Pep Guardiola to find out how his manager felt about the change.

Interestingly, the football player hasn’t had a haircut this short since joining City in 2022 from Borussia Dortmund.

With his new buzzcut, the football player can finally do away with the hairband that became a mainstay of his look.
