Ex-CJP stonewalls question on ‘becoming a politician’

TOP NEWS

Talking to media at the residence of senior lawyer Akram Sheikh, he said he had not taken any decision whether he would take part in politics.

When asked whether he was forming any political party, the former chief justice laughed out loud and stonewalled the query.

The ex-CJ termed the allegations of Imran Khan against him a high-profile matter.

While taking exception to Imran’s allegations, Chaudhary said if Imran thought that he was a respectable person then he should know that every person was respectable.

It may be noted here that the PTI chairman had accused Chaudhary of his involvement in rigging May 11, 2013 general elections through returning officers.

Earlier, the former CJP was seen in a vehicle with no registration number plate. When journalists asked about it, he replied that it was not his concern. Security personnel are authorized to speak on it, he added.
