At least five die in Bahawalnagar cylinder explosion

BAHAWALNAGAR: At least five people were killed and and several others were wounded on Tuesday when a portion of a building collapsed due to a gas cylinder explosion, ARY News reported.

According to details, a part of a building came crashing down following a gas cylinder explosion due to which several people were trapped inside the rubble.

The locals managed to recovered five dead bodies from the rubble. A rescue official stated that 10 people have been recovered from the debris.

Rescue work is going on in the area. Several people are still believed to be trapped under the rubble.

The explosion was heard in the far-flung areas of the city.

A vehicle also thoroughly damaged in the incident.
