According to details, a child rapist was seized by the general public in Ali Housing Colony of Faisalabad when he was fleeing the scene after raping a five year old and dumping her in a graveyard.
Grieved and angry over the brutal crime, people of the area beat him hard first then handed him over to the police.
A group of citizens gathered to protest against the criminal and the heinous crime by blocking the Jhang Road by burning tyres.
The protesters blocked the road for about two hours calling for a befitting punishment to the rape culprit.
Police have shifted the criminal to an unknown location while Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Inspector General Punjab have taken notice of the incident and have directed the relevant authorities to take strict action against the rapist.
