Fawad Khan has finally spoken up about his role in an upcoming ‘Ms. Marvel’ series, giving break to long-standing conjecture around it.
During his recent interview with ‘Film Companion’, an Indian publication, Khan while responding to a question, has affirmed his role in ‘Ms. Marvel’ series.

Host of the show, Anupama Chopra, asked the star about the ongoing speculations regarding him essaying a role in the ‘Ms. Marvel’ series, to which he responded “Yeah, I am”.
“I can’t deny that or lie about it anymore because they have put out the news themselves”, Khan further added.

Though the star managed to maintain silence about any other details regarding his role, he did comment on his experience during the shoot. “It’s a wonderful experience, it was good fun. The cast that I worked with, the people that I worked with, it was good fun, but I am sorry, I cannot say anything more than that at this point in time”, Fawad added.
News about Pakistani star being cast in the international ‘Ms. Marvel’ series started circulating in June this year when his name was added to the cast of the series on its IMDb page.
Iman Vellani will be portraying the titular role of Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan. Apart from Iman, cast of the series include Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
The ‘six episodes’ series, part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4, will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Meera Menon, Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, and is scheduled to premiere in mid 2022.
