The final episode of the critically-acclaimed series today released on its YouTube, Daily Motion and Facebook pages Farida Khanum’s exquisite rendition of the hugely popular ghazal Aaj Jane Ki Zidd Na Karo.
Poet and songwriter Fayyaz Hashmi, born in Kolkata in 1920 and who died in 2011 wrote the ghazal, and the music was composed by Sohail Rana.

Pakistan’s iconic ghazal singher Habib Wali Muhammad also sang the ghazal for the 1973 movie Badal Aur Bijli starring Nadeem and Shabnam. That version can be watched in full below:
