Flight operations disrupted as fog engulfs parts of Punjab

The national highway and motorways were also engulfed with fog thus reducing the visibility level between 30 to 150 meters.
Flight operations have been suspended at Multan airport following the dense fog
According to a spokesman of National Highways and Motorways Police, there is dense fog in Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Lodhran.
Fog blanket has reduced the visibility on Lahore Islamabad and Islamabad-Peshawar Motorways. Motorway Police has advised drivers to use fog lights in these weather conditions.
It also advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel in such conditions.
