These foreign travellers wish a "Happy Pakistan Day"

Pakistan day is celebrated throughout the country on 23rd March to pay homage to Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other freedom fighters for presenting the first resolution that demanded a separate homeland for Muslims in east and west regions of the Sub-continent at Minar e Pakistan, Lahore.

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, our two favorite travelers, known for their enchanting beauty and infinite charm, have taken to Instagram to display their love for the country. The astounding, Eva Zu Beck puts up a photo of herself in the midst of a busy street in Lahore, donned in a Pakistani attire, embellished with a smile.

She writes, “Happy Pakistan Day! This is how Pakistan makes me feel! I’m grateful every day that my life, through chance meetings and decisions, became so entwined with this country. Permanently so.”

“What I do know, though, is that I can navigate it with my own personal journey, a unique journey, a journey that everyone experiences differently. My Pakistan will always be a little different from Your Pakistan. And My Pakistan is a bouquet of wildflowers blossoming with green as spring approaches,” she proceeds.

Another absolutely surreal traveler-cum-motorcyclist, Rosie Gabrielle uploads a photo with her bike along with a Pakistani flag in her hands, flying higher amid the Balochistan winds.

She shares, “Everyone told me it was too dangerous to travel Pakistan. That it was not safe for a solo female on a bike. After now completing my journey across the country by myself, I can tell you my first hand experience, what Pakistan is really about.”

“PAKISTAN….be proud. That, as a country, a whole, you have made a remarkable imprint on my heart. No matter what hardships you’ve been through, you continue to shine. And the people’s love radiates across the land. Stand tall. And continue to support one another knowing that the people, is the true heart of Pakistan. Unite as one. Knowing your value in the world and what Pakistan stands for. PEACE and LOVE,” she continues.
