GHOTKI: Four dead bodies with bullet wounds in heads found in Sarhad police station jurisdiction in Ghotki district of Sindh, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Local people found four dead bodies under a National Highway bridge at Saleemabad village near Sarhad Umar Daho. The people informed the police about the dead bodies, however, the police reached to the crime scene late, local sources said.
All four deceased were killed with bullets in their heads, police officials said.
The police taken the bodies into its custody. All four slain men were wearing shalwar kameez.
Police identified two murdered victims with their identity cards. While remaining two deceased were identified from the chits pinned up by the killers.
According to police the slain people were Baitullah, Abdul Rauf, Hafeezullah and Qari Mohammad Jahangir. Two deceased said to be natives of Dera Ghazi Khan, while other two belong to Dera Ismail Khan district.
SSP Ghotki Dr. Farrukh Ali Lanjar visited the crime scene and inspected the dead bodies.
Ghotki police has launched preliminary investigation of the crime.
In a similar incident in January this year police found three dead bodies in Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki district.
The slain persons were shot dead by firing bullets into the head, police officials said. The slain persons identified as Abdul Malik, Abu Bakr and Yasir, were natives of Pakpattan, Kurram Agency and Hafizabad respectively.
