GHOTKI: At least four people drowned in a well in an attempt to save goat that had fallen in the hole, ARY News reported Thursday.
The incident occurred in Ghari Chakar of Mirpur Mathelo in District Ghotki.
The rescue team managed to pull out bodies of three people while search was underway for the fourth person.
Police said the deceased persons also include two brothers. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Recently, a traffic sergeant in Karachi drew attention of the public with an act of humanity after he saved a dog that had fallen into a drain line.
The officer was stationed near Bilawal House when he spotted a dog into a drain line and the animal was struggling to come out of it. The traffic officer, without taking care of his uniform, stepped in for help.
He successfully pulled out the dog from the drain line and the animal remained unhurt. Someone had shot video of the traffic cop and it went viral shortly after it.
Inspector General Sindh Police Syed Kaleem Imam praised the officer and announced a cash award of Rs 25,000 for the cop. He said the act of the traffic sergeant deserved praise and showed his love for the animals.
