A political and business delegation from Germany led by Stephan Steinleinled to AmanTech – Pakistan’s premier vocational training institute.
Speaking, on the occasion, Steinlein expressed his appreciation for AmanTech and said “Vocational training is centerpiece of the German education system. We are glad that GIZ’s cooperates with AmanTech through the GPATI (German Pakistan Training Initiative) to offer great opportunities the young people of Pakistan”.
Meanwhile, CEO of The Aman Foundation, Ahmad Jalal while addressing the delegation said “The Aman Foundation and AmanTech’spartnership with GIZ, through the Cooperative Vocational Training (GPATI) program, is a great success, and is helping empower underserved youth through exceptional hands-on skills training.”
“We look forward to continuing our cooperation and building upon this to expand our partnership with Germany to continue to transform lives of underserved communities”, he added.
CEO AmanTech, Shams Badruddin said “AmanTech is looking to scale the vocational training initiative and building upon collaborative partnerships in order to expand vocational training to cater to more fields and increase employment opportunities for our students.”
Earlier, upon their arrival, German delegation was welcomed by CEO Aman Foundation, Ahmad Jalal and CEO of AmanTech, Shams Badruddin.
The delegates were given a tour of the institute where students demonstrated their newly learned skills atAmanTech’sstate-of-the-art facility. The new Mechatronics workshop which has recently been launched as a result of GIZ’s partnership with AmanTechwas particularly of interest to the delegation.
