Veteran actor-turned-YouTuber Ghazal Siddique spilt interesting details about her husband and marriage.
Best known for her titular role in the 90s blockbuster serial ‘Marvi’, Ghazal Siddique was recently seated with host Nida Yasir on ARY Digital’s morning show ‘Good Morning Pakistan’.

Speaking about her marriage on the show, Siddique revealed that her husband had not seen any of her dramas before and it was something which stood him apart and she liked. “It was a love-cum-arrange marriage,” she told the host.
The actor also revealed that she met her husband via her sister-in-law, who was also a host on PTV and hence they crossed paths a few times. “Our personalities just clicked as he was a very different, intellectual type of person who had just returned from the USA after completing his PhD,” Siddique detailed.

Despite doing quite a few serials and hosting several shows before taking an exit from TV, Ghazal Siddique is now popular for her YouTube channel, with over 1.7 million subscribers. However, the actor shared that the fame that she got because of ‘Marvi’ is unprecedented, and fans still address her by the character’s name.
“I count myself among very few blessed artists to have got such a role, with a strong script and an amazing direction; and when one gets a great time like that, it grooms you [as an artist],” she said.
It is pertinent to mention that ‘Marvi’, a modern adaptation of a Sindhi folktale ‘Umar Marvi’, aired on PTV in 1993. The Sultana Siddiqui directorial also starred Hassam Qazi, Mahnoor Baloch, and Kaiser Khan Nizamani.
