KARACHI: The gold prices register a drop in Pakistan as per tola price witnessed a decrease of Rs400 in the domestic market, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
The price of precious yellow metal decreased by Rs400 per tola in Pakistan to trade at Rs209,200, said Muhammad Arshad, the chairman of the All Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association.
Likewise, the rate of 10 grams of the precious metal also saw a decrease of Rs343 to trade at Rs 179,355.
On the international stage, gold prices have experienced an upswing, with the current rate standing at $1,975 per ounce.
Spot gold was down 0.3% at $1,967.20 per ounce by 0946 GMT. U.S. gold futures fell 0.5% to $1,978.70.
Spot silver slipped 0.4% to $22.89 an ounce, platinum dipped 1.3% to $885.10, while palladium gained 0.3% to $1,121.
