ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has given orders to open ARY News, Secretary Information and Broadcasting says that there is no justification of suspending the channel, after the verdict of the Sindh High Court (SHC) – ARY News reports.
Public protest and the righteous stance of ARY News eventually won against unjust decision by PEMRA of suspending the license for 15 days and closing the channel.
The Government of Pakistan passed orders to open ARY News, while the Secretary Information and Broadcasting, Dr Nazeer Saeed said that the orders were issued in the light of the SHC verdict, which will formally be announced today.
He told that after court’s verdict on the matter, there remains no justification of putting a bar on the channel.
Moreover, Saeed said an action will be taken against the cable operators, who were found delinking ARY News.
