KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Rehman Malik on Monday said that the decision to start military operation against terrorists should have been taken eight months earlier by the government, ARY News reported.
About IDPs, Malik opined that government will have to make a comprehensive policy for them lest terrorists spread across the country.
Talking to media personnel at Karachi airport, Malik was of the view Tahir-ul-Qadri branded revolution is a temporary and seasonal one while advising Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to replace the word ‘Tsunami’ with some other word as tsunami indicates destruction.
The former interior minister said that that his party sides with the government for the sake of democracy, adding that the political direction of the government is not correct and whatever they are planning is deviating from its actual path.
